Fifteen lessons, each a researched written lesson with its sources and a narrated video, cover the everyday hazards of a small business and what to do about them. You learn your right to speak up, protected, and who helps a small business with safety. You deal with the floor you walk past, lifting and reaching, and heat on the job. You read a label and a safety data sheet, and wear protective gear right. You check cords, outlets and tools, plan for fire and the ways out, and get ready for first aid: who is trained, where the kit is, and how to call for help. When someone gets hurt, you report injuries and near misses and handle blood and sharps safely. You finish by building your own Safety Folder.
